Wanda LaRae (Hulstein) Lynn, was born to Raymond and Teen Hulstein on August 30, 1962 in Upland, California until she was 6 years old and moved to Minnesota to her father’s new farm. Wanda attended Pipestone High School and First Reformed Church. During this time, Wanda met the love of her life, Tori Douglas Lynn. Tori and Wanda were united in marriage at the First Reformed Church. They grew their family in Pipestone, MN; Brookings, SD; and Sioux Falls, SD. Wanda had a love professionally of taking care of others. She worked many years in home care facilities and daycares.
Shortly after losing her husband to a heart attack, Wanda was diagnosed with cancer in 2011. Wanda fought her battle with the support of her family and friends. She remained at home until moving into the care of the Avera Dougherty Hospice House. Wanda peacefully passed away on October 9, 2016.
Wanda was preceeded in death by her oldest brother, Randy, and her husband, Tori. Wanda is survived by her children Kriston, Matthew, and Nathan; his wife, Brianna and granddaughter Telena, her parents Raymond and Teen; her brothers Cal, and Brian; his wife, Linda; her in-laws, Ralph and Donna Lynn; many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
